NASA use Trampolines To Train Astronauts
Trampolines have such health benefits, that even NASA has incorporated them into their astronaut training. According to a recent statement from the National Aeronautic and Space Administration, exercising on a small Mini Trampoline, or a 'rebounder' is one of the most 'efficient and effective exercises yet devised by man'.
NASA said that the health benefits of using a Mini-Trampoline are astonishing and utilises them in their general fitness training, due to the weightless state achieved during jumps. When you land on a Trampoline, your muscles absorb twice the force of gravity which in turn benefits every part of your body, as well as boosting your lymph system.
In short, NASA said that a 150lb person using a mini Trampoline for an hour would burn more calories than if they went for a jog for the same amount of time.
